Street Scene
The
historic streets of Nacogdoches turn into a colorful scene when
the Texas Blueberry Festival is held the second week of June.
 Live
Entertainment
Live entertainment on Friday and Saturday nights keep the music
flowing for the Texas Blueberry Festival. Free performances also
take place Saturday at the Festival. 
Pancake
Breakfast
The
Nacogdoches Kiwanis serve up fresh pancakes with a liberal
helping of local blueberries. It’s a great way to start the
festival!

Blue Pet Parade
Prizes
for most unique, cutest, best costume are awarded in this
lets-have-a-laugh parade. Bring your camera – these dogs,
cats, and sometimes even llamas will pose for you. 
Elsie’s
Little Red Express Train
Sponsored by Borden’s Milk Products— is a new favorite of
the Texas Blueberry Festival. Individual tickets are sold. This
train is big enough for the kids, mom and dad and the
grandparents to all ride along!

Deja
Blue Classic Car Show
The Deja Blue Classic Car Show,
typically
held from 9
a.m. -1 p.m. on Saturday helps Texas Blueberry Festival-goers
get a taste of American Graffiti, with street rods, pre-
and post-WWII cars, trucks and motorcycles.

Bounce
Park
The Bounce Park includes lots of giggles
and spills. Giant inflatables such as the Batman and Superman
obstacle courses, extra-large Bounce House, and the Dual Super
Slide delight the younger set.

Set in the shade of
Festival Plaza, a variety of farm animals fascinate kids and
parents.

Sometimes
a great festival experience can be do-it-yourself. Free crafts
and take-home artwork let children express their creativity.

Pies Smiling at Me Pie Eating Contest
Race you to the bottom of the pie dish! It’s a delicious mess
of whipped cream and fresh blueberries in a contest for two age
divisions, with tables set right on the historic brick streets
of downtown Nacogdoches.
